What does split mean in blackjack? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        1. You have twos, threes or sevens and the dealer's face-up card is two to seven (inclusive)
          These three blackjack hands are generally regarded as stinkers. They all have the potential to fail with one or two hits. Split them. You are more likely to improve your lot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. You have nines and the dealer's up card is two to six (inclusive), eight or nine
          Hitting with 18 is insane, but it's a beatable hand, so it's not a great position to stand either. Splitting is the best choice in this situation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. You have sixes and the dealer has an up card from two to six (inclusive)
          You are more likely to beat a dealer with an up card in this range if you split your sixes than if you try to play them as a single hand. If you split your sixes, you could get a ten. This puts you in a good position against a dealer who could well go bust.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
